Recreational activities to suit every interest are available in and around Saratoga. These include: picnicking, camping, hiking, horseback riding, canoeing, boating, swimming, bicycling and golfing.


Saratoga is very popular for its many antique shops which have collectibles from Early American to Estate Period pieces.


Popular route through Saratoga on Highway 9 and numerous trails in surrounding areas.

This membership club, located in the beautiful foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains offers tennis, swimming, a nine-hole golf course, clubhouse and restaurant. Banquet facilities for special events are available to the public by reservation.

Garrod Farms Riding Stables

One of Saratoga's original ranches. Owned and operated by the Garrod family. Features miles of private, scenic riding trails and riding lessons for children and adults. Horses boarded and rented. Monday through Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

150 to 175 classes per quarter. Summer camps, senior citizen and family excursions, youth and adult softball and basketball leagues, preschool and special events.
